Finished with time to spare - leaving for Deep Creek Lake in a week and will give her the quilt then.

It's not like I didn't know she was coming, but I just didn't get around to even PLANNING a quilt for her...Bad.Grandma.  And even now I've taken the easy way out - I already have a gazillion half square triangles in random pinks and purples so I've just thrown them up on the design wall and now I'm sewing them all together.  There will be a border...which, again, I haven't even thought about but surely somewhere in my stash is a sufficient amount of compatible fabric for that.  Thankfully my daughter really uses her quilts so I wouldn't be doing something intricate regardless.
