Happy 4th !!!

Happy 4th of July!  I just got a picture of all my girls ready for their neighborhood bike parade...I miss them...

I'm still waiting for my newest granddaughter...but thought I'd just throw something random out onto the blog.

Awhile ago I made a baby quilt for a new little girl. Here I'm loading it up on the HQ16:

I made quilts for my other two granddaughters, so guess I should at least take this downtime to come up with a plan for this new one...

Not doing any quilting so haven't been on the blog. I'm down in Charlotte waiting for granddaughter #3 to arrive. Trust me, absolutely not possible to sit and sew around a 2 year old and 4 year old! I did bring a "hexie kit" thinking I'd get some time in the evening maybe but by then I'm too tired! I'd rather have a glass of wine (or two!) and call it a day...

I had to keep the girls busy one morning while Adriane had an appointment, so like the wholesome Grandma that I am - I took them for ice cream for breakfast!
